Listing your business on Google means creating a Google Business Profile. This puts your business on Google Search and Google Maps, where customers searching for businesses in your category and location can find you.
Go to business.google.com and sign in. Enter your business name and select your category. Add your address and phone number. If you have a website, add that too. Then complete verification, which Google requires to confirm you actually own or manage the business.
Once verified, your listing becomes active. Customers can find it when searching for your business name or for businesses in your category near them. They can call you directly from the listing, get directions, read your reviews, and see your photos and hours.
For brand-controlled dealer listings, the listing process is the same but the ownership question matters more. The brand should own and control dealer listings rather than leaving them with individual dealers who may not keep them updated or may not maintain the listing if they stop carrying the brand.
