Beyond the Local Pack, a verified Business Profile also gives you a panel that appears in search results when someone searches your business name directly. This panel shows your hours, phone number, reviews, and other key information prominently, which drives calls and direction requests without any advertising spend.
To maximise free Google visibility, complete every section of your profile, choose specific and accurate categories, add high-quality photos, respond to all reviews, and post regular updates. Each of these signals contributes to your listing appearing more prominently and more often.
Google Ads, Google’s paid platform, gives you additional control over when and where you appear and can supplement your organic presence. But the organic Business Profile is free and, for local searches, often more visible than paid results.
