How do I put my business on Google?

Create a Google Business Profile at business.google.com, complete your listing details, and verify your business to appear on Google Search and Maps.

To get your business on Google, you need to create a Google Business Profile. This is the system Google uses to populate Search and Maps results with local business information.

Go to business.google.com and sign in with a Google account. Search for your business name. If it already exists as an unclaimed listing, you can claim it. If not, create a new one by entering your business name, choosing your category, adding your address or service area, and providing your phone number and website.

After entering your details, Google will ask you to verify the listing. This confirms you are the actual business owner or manager. The most common method is a postcard mailed to your business address with a verification code you enter to complete the process.

Once verified, your listing becomes active. It will appear when customers search for your business name or for businesses in your category near your location. You can then log in any time to update your information, add photos, respond to reviews, and post updates.
